TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.
Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. But inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.
