The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is broad.
What You Trade On
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after comparing.
FIX API is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should make the platform set when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The speed is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Now, the detail you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not make it safe. But inform your decision.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that works depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you commit.
